Client Relationship Manager
Role:
The main purpose of this position is to help drive Freightline business and growth agenda across the UKI with a focus on our Manufacturing Logistics sector within Automotive OEM’s and Tier suppliers. You will be working on bid and tenders at the higher end of the market where you will need to pro-actively identify, assess, pursuit and win news sales opportunity.
To be successful in this role you will need to quickly gain an understanding of the Manufacturing Logistics market to enable you to build effective relationships with potential customers. As this role focuses on the high-end, large and complex projects. Attention to details will help you with the ability to influence, encourage and guide customers through the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and leveraging constructive relationships within target accounts to gain access to key decision makers.
- Continuously review business potential and identify new potential business opportunities.
- Conduct research meetings with the customers to understand the customer’s organization, requirements, and business objectives.
- Successfully present solution proposal and business fits to decision makers, engage in negotiations and closing the bid.
- Proactive and sustained daily telesales contact to identify and develop customers.
- Plan and carry out effective regular trips to present to prospective clients in the UK.
- Achieve personal KPIs and Sales targets.
- Represent the company at conferences/exhibitions.
- Ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained in all activities.
- Diligently and promptly maintain company’s CRM reporting system.
- Enhance and improve customer relations.
- Reporting to the Customer Relationship Director
Required:
- Experience of working in a customer facing role and have a strong B2B Communication skill.
- Experience in logistics and very good knowledge of OEM Automotive sector would be beneficial.
- Existing customer base would be a big advantage.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Excellent facilitation skills in order to represent the company in conferences/exhibitions.
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
- Exemplary relationship management professional, with ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
- Strong MS Excel knowledge could be advantageous.
- Experience in CRM systems is must.
- Driving licences and willing to travel 50% of the time.
- Right to live & work in the UK.
Annual Wage
Competitive
Supplemental pay types: Bonus scheme, Commission pay, Performance bonus
Working Week
Monday – Friday. 8 Hours per day.
Hybrid work. 50% Travel.
